83% of North American adults believe that God not only hears their prayers, but also answers them, according to a new survey conducted by USA Today.
92% say God exists.
About 57% of adults favor having a National Day of Prayer, 4.5% oppose it, and 38% shrug it off. Among young adults, that attitude of "Who cares?" was prevalent among 59% of those 18- to 29-years-old.
