Visual artist, Elsa Robinson, will be leading a collective process on the theme (Un)masking Spirit. During this collective participants will explore masks from traditional cultures and select and use symbols and structures to express their own spiritual identity or that of spiritual deities they want to honour. Participants will be supported constructing three-dimensional masks using a combination of art supplies and recycled materials. Participants will also work with a writer who will guide us in creating a poem or other written word that will accompany the mask. Runs until March 22. Must register via web site.
