Please join us on the evening of Sunday December 14 at 6:00 pm for a special evening service to reflect. Many of us, at times, find that feeling “Christmas Cheer” can be a challenge. All around us are images of families and laughter – everyone seems to be having a good time. But maybe there have been difficult and sad changes in your life this past year – the death of a friend, or a loved one; the loss of a job. Sometimes it’s simply distance from family that makes Christmas a challenging time. Sometimes it’s not even something you can put your finger on – it’s just that the Christmas season gets to you. This service, is an opportunity to acknowledge that Christmas can bring “hard” feelings – being open about this in the context of worship can open up avenues of God’s grace.
