Welcome to the Hand-in-Hand with African Women Global Walk for Water, to be held between October 9-16, 2021. This fundraising event is committed to empower women by creating sustainable structures to support them in becoming entrepreneurs and working their way to autonomy, self-reliance, freedom and dignity. People all over the world walk in their neighbourhoods or in sacred places of their choice, in solidarity with African women to raise awareness of the lack of clean water in the Maasai Mara in Kenya. Your contributions will support the drilling of a well in Kenya. Together, let us imagine water flowing from a borehole, to impact over 3,000 people and their livestock.
