The short of it is…
My incredibly amazing heritage age home, was seriously damaged during a city construction project and the large utilities company and the municipality that are responsible, are forcing me to take them to court.
My ceilings are falling down due to a serious event in a chain of events, by the contractor doing the work. Caused by their use of heavy equipment and negligent operation of such, that pulled an outside wall away from the frame of the home, tore out multiple overhead cables and caused severe structural damage as well as ongoing damages.
My insurance refuses to cover any of the damage/repair costs, as it is clear where the responsibility lies. Video and photographic proof are ready for court but in the meantime, I can not sell/move without the proper repair work being done…or will lose more than 50% of my property value. The home is currently “living proof and evidence”, of what was done against my property.
I am in desperate need of some funding assistance for my lawyer, filing/paperwork fees, civil engineer cost, repair costs and more.
