CMM – Christcity Marketplace Ministries

April 9 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

| Free

We invite you to register and attend the next “Marketplace Ministries” event on Tuesday, April 9, 2019.

Our theme this season is: “Shaping a Business that Honours Christ” and together we seek to encourage and develop men and women interested in starting and growing businesses that honour Christ in the ‘Marketplaces’ of life. The “Marketplace” being wherever we interact with others – in our businesses, our workplaces, our homes, and in our communities!

Our topic: “Striving for Customer Service Excellence”

Customer Service Excellence doesn’t happen ‘on its own’. Excellence takes a passion for what you do. Add to that – expertise, a full effort from everyone on the team, and you have “a recipe” that will delight your customers! No business or organization can continue to operate if they fail to meet the expectations of their customers or members. Join with us as we explore what it takes to excel! Learn from those who’ve recognized the importance of taking care of their customers. Come, Learn and Grow – contributing your insights as a part of the valuable ideas we’ll be able to put into practice!”

OUR SERVICE EXCELLENCE PANEL: Sharing experiences, insights and lessons learned, our experienced panel will ‘let us in’ on some of the challenging and exciting experiences they’ve faced and how they managed to deliver Customer Service Excellence.

Dawn Magee, together with her husband Terry are Owners of “The Shepherd’s Guide, Canada” which recently celebrated 30 years. Through their network of publishers, they serve seventeen areas, across five provinces. Each year 281,000 copies of The Shepherd’s Guide are printed, making it the largest Christian directory in Canada. Its online presence receives on average 3,000 unique visitors per month. The Shepherd’s Guide strives to strengthen, edify and unite the Body of Christ through the marketplace.

Walter Trebilcock is an Author, Certified Life Coach, and Speaker with a distinguished career, having trained many currently in the hospitality sector. He’s instructed in NAIT’s Hospitality & Culinary Arts Program, Managed the Food Sciences Centre for Portage College, and met the demanding, high expectations of guests at the Jasper Park Lodge and Chateau Lake Louise. Walter is the Event Coordinator and Assistant Food & Beverage Manager with the Windermere Golf and Country Club.

Jen Armstrong has demonstrated keen instincts when it comes to coordinating special events. Whether they’ve been small, intimate groups, or massive events that fill coliseums, she and her team rise to every occasion! One challenging and rewarding project involved coordinating international speakers and musicians for “YC” Conferences for more than 20 years. With thousands of registrants attending from across western Canada – expectations were extremely high, but the reward was priceless! Jen is Women’s Pastor at Christcity Church.

“THE 5 VOICES”: Mark Ryan will share insights from “The 5 Voices”- developed by GiANT Worldwide. In this meeting we’ll take a closer look at the “Nurturer” Voice and how an understanding of this caring and developmental role can improve our communication with those around us.
