Wear red for the troops at Capital EX and the Indy July 23
Wear red to Capital EX or the Honda Indy on Friday July 23 to show your support for troops based in the Capital Region.
Red Friday is an annual awareness campaign to recognize the contributions of troops and their families to our communities. Wearing red is a simple way to show appreciation to our military neighbours, friends and volunteers.
Street teams will be out in force at the Capital EX and Honda Indy, promoting the day as an opportunity to “paint the town red” in support of our troops and their families.
The Royal Canadian Artillery Band will give Red Friday performances at Capital EX’s Centre Stage at 1pm and 3:30pm.
Edmontonians are also encouraged to wear red at a concert by the Naden Band of Maritime Forces Pacific. The band will perform Sailors and Songs at the Winspear at 7:30pm.
Show your colours for our troops. Wear red on July 23, and encourage others to do the same.
