Good Job

The other day, I caught the Will Smith 'blockbuster' Hancock on tv.
There is one scene where Will Smith's character is told to tell the police officer's that they are doing a 'good job'. While the scene is purely a scene inserted for comedic value, I appreciate the message.
How often do we truly thank someone, or encourage them on the good job they are doing? How much can you brighten up someone's day, simply by telling them they are doing a good job.
Give it a shot.
