Beat Your Case of the Mondays

This morning I woke up and hit snooze... and then hit it again... and again. I knew it was a Timmy's morning, but when I tried to order my coffee, the words I was trying to say just wouldn't come out!

Yep...I have a 'Case of the Mondays'!

If you can relate, here are some things you can do to make your morning less...well...Monday! :)

 

* Grab a coffee with the office perky person - Every office has that person who is the eternal optimist and happy all the time.  When dealing with your 'Case of the Mondays' you need to do the near impossible and purposely hang out with people who won't feed your negative mood, but force you to look at the bright side of life.  Like attracts like and unless you enjoy stewing in your bad mood, be around those who will encourage you to be positive.

 

* Watch funny videos online - They say laughter is the best medicine, so go ahead and find something to get you laughing online before your workday starts.

 

* Go to the gym - Working out release endorphines, which will help give your mood a positive boost.

 

* Indulge in a delicious breakfast - A 'Case of the Mondays' is your cheat morning. Enjoy it! Even science will back this up.  Studies show that fatty comfort foods can make you less vulnerable to negative moods.

 

* Pay it forward - We like this one! When your feeling bad about your day, do something to make someone else's day better.  Chances are, you're not alone feeling a little down. Putting a smile on someone else's face is contagious!
