Luke Langman
Music has been Luke’s focus in recent years beginning
with a CD he recorded in his own home called ‘My Song and My Salvation’
which was released December 9, 2006. He received airplay on “The Great
I Am”, a worship tune on his local Christian station.
This was followed by a five song EP recorded and produced by Jeff
Wardell called ‘Change The World’, released May 5, 2007. All five
songs from the EP received airplay in Canada, and the single, ‘Change
The World’, charted at #8 in September 2007.
His latest offering, a full length album produced by Andrew
Horrocks called ‘Over The Sun’, which was released June 28, 2008. The
album drew him a nomination for “Rock Album of the Year” at the 2008
CGMA Covenant Awards and he has received airplay across Canada from
four singles “How Great Are You Lord”, “Rain From Heaven”, “Stand” and
“Over The Sun”.
Luke Langman and his wife Heidi have two young children, Abbie and
Caleb. He lives and works on his family dairy farm in central
Ontario. Luke leads worship at Faith Evangelical Missionary Church in
Wasaga Beach. He graduated from the University of Guelph in 1998 with
a Bachelor of Science in agriculture and met his wife while they were
doing development work in 2000 with World Vision in Honduras.
He plays local shows and has lead worship at Muskoka Bible Conference, in Muskoka.
